About CE Avionics

CE Avionics is an avionics service and sales company based at Orlando Sanford International Airport in Sanford, Florida. It repairs, installs and certifies avionics for aircraft across Central Florida and its coasts. The company says it has worked in avionics for more than 50 years.

The business began as a family company in 1970, started by Loren and Susan Friedle. In 1972 they set up CE Avionics at Sanford Airport. It is still family run and owner led. Karen Friedle-McKinnon, Christopher Friedle and Michael Hughes lead it today.

Core work includes avionics installs and upgrades, from autopilots to WIFI connectivity. The team also does troubleshooting and repairs. It offers FAA-certified inspections such as RVSM, IFR and VFR checks. These can be done at the customer hangar or at the company hangar. The company also sells avionics equipment from trusted brands and helps buyers from choosing to installing.

A mobile service team travels to the customer. It offers on-site diagnostics, flightline repair, certifications and full bench repair. The company covers an area from Jacksonville to Tampa and down to Stuart. It also sells avionics service programs, which are protection plans for an aircraft.

CE Avionics works with corporate and general aviation, government, OEMs, rotorcraft, fleets, special missions and flight schools. It also offers the Collins Avionics Service Program, known as CASP. The program page lists airframes such as the Hawker 850XP, Hawker 750, Beech 1900D, Cessna Citation XLS+ and Dassault Falcon 2000 and 50.

The website has a contact form and a quote request form for CASP. The shop is at 2789 Flightline Ave, Sanford, FL 32773. The phone number is +1 (407) 323-0200.
