About Avior Airlines C.A

Avior Airlines C.A is an airline from Venezuela. The address on its site is Barcelona, in Anzoátegui State. It sells national and international flights, and its site notes trips to Colombia and Curaçao.

The company says it began in 1994. Jorge Añez Dager started it under the name Avior, Aviones de Oriente. At first it flew corporate trips for oil companies and tour operators in the east of the country. It used Cessna C-337 and Aerocommander AC-500-S aircraft, and later added Dornier DO-28 aircraft. By 1997 it had a fleet of nine aircraft.

The site describes a push for new technology. The airline set up a Frame Relay network so its airport stations and offices could share voice and data. It also used a program called EAGLE and an online booking system called Open Skies. For a time it flew nationally under the name Avior Express.

Avior Airlines, as it is known now, was formed in 2003. In August 2012 it carried 102,703 passengers, its highest number up to then. It started international flights in March 2016 and widened its routes to North, Central and South America.

The product list includes AviorPlus, AviorCargo, Avior Travel Assist, a mobile app, tours and activities, and flexible payment plans. Travelers can check in online and pay in USD or VES.

Customers can call the call center or use WhatsApp from 8:00 to 21:00 every day. The site lists airport offices, including one at José Antonio Anzoátegui International Airport in Barcelona.
