About Aviation Consultancy

Aviation Consultancy and Engineering Services, known as ACE Services, supports business aviation. The company has operated since 2001. It describes its service as friendly and reputable. Its main work is continuing airworthiness management. This means keeping an aircraft safe and legal to fly over its whole life.

ACE Services acts as a link between three parties. These are the aircraft operator, the Part-145 maintenance organisation and the aviation regulator. It can manage airworthiness under its own CAMO approval. CAMO stands for Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation. It can also work as a sub-contractor for holders of an Air Operator Certificate.

The company holds UK Civil Aviation Authority approvals. It is approved as a CAMO under Part M Subpart G. It has applied for the new Part CAMO approval and was waiting for a decision. It can also issue annual Airworthiness Review Certificates under its Subpart I approval. It helps owners get a Permit to Fly from their national authority.

ACE Services looks after aircraft on many registers. These include UK, EASA, US, Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey and San Marino. For aircraft on other registers, the company will seek CAMO approval from the national regulator when the customer asks. An aircraft maintenance management team tracks maintenance so that each aircraft stays compliant and safe.

If an aircraft type is not on the approved list, ACE Services can seek type approval. It can write the exposition, which is the manual that sets out how an operation runs. It can also build a maintenance programme for the aircraft type. It then helps get both approved and a Certificate of Airworthiness issued.

The approval list is wide. It covers piston engine aircraft with a metal structure under 5,700 kilograms, including Beech and Cessna types. It lists Beech King Air models and many Cessna Citation jets. It also covers BAe 125 and Hawker jets, Jetstream turboprops, Dassault Falcon jets and several Gulfstream models.

The website invites owners and operators to discuss their aircraft or CAMO needs. The company says it uses approved airworthiness management software and keeps its rates competitive. Visitors can use the site to review the approval schedule and request a conversation.
