Avari Aero, also called Avari Aerospace, is a drone company in Cincinnati, Ohio. It makes the Hermes, a VTOL fixed wing hybrid drone for delivery work. The company's address is 7801 Affinity Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.

The site says the drone can take off and land vertically and then fly like a fixed wing aircraft. It can fly long distances without take-off or landing infrastructure, frequent refueling stops or a large landing area.

The site lists three packages. The long range package is battery only and flies over 500 miles at max payload. The extreme range package uses gaseous hydrogen and is listed as over 900 miles, with a partner announcement pending. The extreme max range package uses liquid hydrogen and is listed as over 2,040 miles. The company says these figures are projections for its model 2 prototype, and real results may vary.

The max payload is 20 lbs. The site says the hybrid drone needs only about 10 square feet for vertical takeoff and landing.

The company offers equipment lease, maintenance support, implementation and operations support. It says its goal is to help logistics providers add drone delivery to their services. The site says its flight technology is NDAA compliant and can fly beyond visual line of sight.

The company has opened pre-registration for communities and companies in Alaska. The project aims to bring food, goods and medicine to places without road access. The site also lists a food security project for Alaska.
