About Airfast Indonesia

Airfast Indonesia, operated by PT Airfast Indonesia, is a private aviation company specialising in aircraft charter. It was established in 1971 and describes more than 55 years in business. Helicopters were its original business: it began as a small helicopter operator serving Indonesia's oil exploration industry.

History

The company started as an Australian-Indonesian joint venture and became fully Indonesian-owned in 1982 under the late aviator Frank Delano Reuneker. Over the following decades it expanded beyond mineral exploration and oil production into other industries. It has won international contracts in India, the Solomon Islands, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates, and has supported a United Nations programme in Sudan. Its missions range from bush flying to corporate executive charter.

  • Fixed wing: DHC-6-300 and DHC-6-400 Twin Otters, each in standard and amphibious versions

The company states that each aircraft type is very well maintained.
