It specializes in aeromedical evacuations and transfers patients under strict international standards. The company is the only firm in Mexico that focuses solely on this type of service.

The company follows a strict service protocol for every aeromedical evacuation. Each case begins with a medical evaluation from the medical director. Staff assign the proper crew and medical equipment based on the patient's condition. Ground support coordinates transportation to and from hospitals. The team maintains continuous communication with the receiving doctor and family members during the transfer. This process ensures that each patient receives care suited to his or her specific needs.

Air One Ambulance offers bedside to bedside service for all flights. The operations center expedites necessary permits before departure. This includes border clearances, immigration processing, sanitary permits, and international overflight authorizations. The team also coordinates technical layovers and airport extension use when required. The goal is to handle all logistics so that the patient can move directly between medical facilities.

The fleet includes pressurized and non pressurized medium and long range jets and airplanes. Aircraft include Lear jet models 24, 25, 35, and 36. The company also operates Beechcraft King Air 200 and Fairchild Metro III aircraft. The team selects the aircraft based on the number of patients, medical condition, and transport distance. Configurations can carry one to six patients and one to three family members. Some planes include a lavatory and galley for longer trips.

Each flight crew includes two pilots and two or three medical crew members. The aircraft carry oxygen supplies, suction systems, air at fifty psi, and one hundred fifteen volt power. Some aircraft include lavatories and galleys. All planes feature worldwide satellite communications. Medical capacity varies by aircraft, with some models supporting multiple patients and several medical personnel. The Bell 407 helicopter is also available for transfers between hospitals and airports.

The company holds an ongoing contract with a DGAC authorized maintenance shop for regular aircraft inspections. All corrective maintenance occurs in the United States at repair shops certified by the FAA and approved by DGAC. Lear jet aircraft in the fleet offer ranges up to 2600 miles with worldwide service areas. These jets can reach cruising altitudes of 45000 feet and speeds of 525 miles per hour.
