Jones is an American Bonanza Society Recognized Instructor, with the certificate presented at AirVenture 2026, and the site says he is the only one in Utah. He also presents at FAASTeam meetings in Salt Lake City on advanced avionics errors, Bonanza emergencies and the first year of IFR flying. The site is a member of the Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association.
Cirrus
The site has a Cirrus page covering instrument and transition training in the SR20, SR22, SR22TN and SR22T with G3 to G7 avionics, and the SF50 Vision Jet. According to the site, before starting Air Corgi Jones spent four and a half years as senior instrument instructor at a Cirrus training operation in Salt Lake City, giving transition training to pilots new to Cirrus plus instrument instruction and IPCs across the SR line, with recurrent testing every six months. He now gives Cirrus systems and Perspective+ avionics training on a simulator before moving to the aircraft, and applies Cirrus procedures to both instrument and transition training. The site notes that most insurers accept this kind of training from an independent CFI-I; confirm with your underwriter.
