About Air Bagan

Air Bagan is a passenger airline in Myanmar. The site says it was established in 2004. It describes itself as the first private airline in Myanmar that is 100 percent owned by Myanmar nationals. Its head office is at No. 56 Shwe Taung Gyar Street, Bahan Township, Yangon.

The airline has served passengers for several years and has grown from its first domestic routes. The site says it adopted a Safety Management System recommended by ICAO as early as 2006. The Myanmar civil aviation department made it mandatory for all AOC holders in 2010.

The site says the airline is the first domestic airline in Myanmar to use a computerised reservation system. It moved to e-ticketing in March 2012. It also said it planned to open online bookings through global distribution and Amadeus systems.

The site describes Putao in far northern Myanmar as the only place in the country where snow is possible. Putao is the starting point for mountain expeditions. The route map and destination pages list other domestic cities.

The Royal Lotus Plus programme is the airline's frequent flyer scheme. Gold Plus and Lotus Plus members can use the Lotus Lounge at Mandalay International Airport. The site says some bookings are handled by a partner airline, Asian Wings Air.

The airline has branch offices in Chiang Mai, Heho and Kalay. The site also has an in-flight magazine, tour packages, travel information and a news section. It lists corporate social responsibility work, including charity and donations after natural disasters.

The hotline is +951 504888. Online reservations use +951 513300. The head office telephone numbers include (+95-1) 514861 and (+95-1) 513322. The site links to Facebook, X, YouTube and Instagram.
