Asked by The Flying Engineer what AFEXS does and who it works with, Managing Director Amaury Degos said the company specialises in aircraft technical support during heavy maintenance checks and in supply chain. AFEXS represents airlines and lessors during heavy checks wherever in the world they send their aircraft, and as on-site representatives handles logistics, technical, quality and supply chain matters. It also helps airlines with surplus inventories, spare parts sourcing and AOG support.

On what sets AFEXS apart, he pointed beyond inspection and technical skills: the company has the network and tools to help with the supply chain, from finding and buying parts to getting them shipped.

• Technical representative services for C-checks, heavy modifications and passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversions
