AFA-Atlantic Flight Academy

Atlantic Flight Academy (Atlantik Uçuş Akademisi, AFA) is a Turkish approved training organisation based in Istanbul. Founded in 2011 to meet demand for airline pilots in Türkiye, it trains students to SHT-FCL and EASA Part-FCL standards with the aim of producing pilots ready to join airlines as second officers. It also runs its own maintenance organisation and is the authorised Diamond Aircraft distributor for Türkiye.

Maintenance

AFA holds a Part 145 maintenance approval and a continuing airworthiness (SYK) approval. It is a regional service centre for Diamond Aircraft and Austro Engine and offers maintenance in Türkiye and abroad.
