Aerotech News & Review

Aerotech News and Review is a newspaper for the aerospace and defense industry. It serves Southern California, Nevada and Arizona. The paper comes out every other Friday, and it also runs a news website.

The site groups its news by military base. These include Edwards Air Force Base, Fort Irwin National Training Center and Barstow, Nellis and Creech Air Force Bases, Luke Air Force Base and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Local editions are named, such as The Thunderbolt for Luke and Desert Lightning News for Nellis, Creech and Davis-Monthan. Other sections cover news, local stories, veterans, space and technology, business and defense. There are also a high desert hangar section and special issues.

Recent stories on the site cover Air Force events, a new elementary school near Luke, and flight tests. One story reports that NASA's X-59 quiet supersonic experimental aircraft passed 25 test flights. Another covers enlisted airmen who earned flight test credentials at Edwards.

The about page names Paul Kinison as publisher and national advertising manager. Lisa Kinison is business manager. The news and ad deadline is noon on the Tuesday before publication. Subscriptions cost $59 for six months or $89 for one year, in the United States only. The site also has a PDF edition, a business directory, a photo archive, an events list and an advertising page. The phone number for the paper is (661) 917-1835.
