Aerospace Welding Minneapolis (AWI)

Aerospace Welding Minneapolis, Inc. (AWI) makes and repairs general aviation aircraft exhaust systems and engine mounts from a 35,000 square foot facility in Eagan, Minnesota. It was established in 1993, describes itself as a world leader in exhaust and engine mount repair, and is now a Hartzell Aviation company within Signia Aerospace alongside Acorn Welding of Edmonton. Its website says it is an FAA certified repair station and that its replacement parts are FAA PMA approved.

The individual model listings on both pages are loaded by script and could not be read, so the models covered are not repeated here; the site asks customers to call 651-379-9888 for fit and applicability.

The site carries a notice that it is under construction and that ordering and repair services are moving to hartzellaviation.com, which sells all AWI and Acorn exhaust products and Seaplanes West engine mounts. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central.
