Aero Cushioning & Seating of Australia (ACSOA)

ACSOA Australia is a privately held company in Melbourne. It was founded in 1997 under the name Seats of Australia, with an early focus on soft furnishings and a particular skill in aviation foam grades. It has since grown into aviation and transport interior solutions, covering seats, covers and curtains for aircraft, and also rail, marine, coach and defence customers.

Quality and testing

The company states that components used in aircraft products are tested for flammability. The tests include the 15 second horizontal test, the 12 second and 60 second vertical ignition tests and oil burner testing. Its quality manual is reviewed through internal audits by a quality assurance department and external audits by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. All maintenance follows customer requirements and OEM specifications.
