Team Details for the Financial Accounting Project

This page was a sign up portal for a class project in financial accounting. It was used to collect the details of each student team.

The project

Each team had to compare the financial performance of two companies using their annual reports. The project needed at least two years of data for each company. The page advised choosing four consecutive years for both companies, because that makes trends easier to see.

The teams

The batch had 66 students, which meant 16 to 17 teams. A shared sheet listed the details of all the teams.

What the form asked

• A name or ID for the team
• Team size: 3, 4 or 5 members
• Names of the team lead and the other members
• The team lead's email address and 10 digit mobile number, as the single point of contact
• The two companies to analyse, with their websites
• Two annual report years that both companies shared, chosen from FY05 (2004 to 05) to FY15 (2014 to 15)
