Air shows and aerospace trade shows

8 companies across 4 countries.

Air shows come in two broad kinds. Public air shows put aircraft in the sky for spectators: aerobatic teams, warbirds and historic aircraft, often run by museums or local airport groups. Trade shows are where manufacturers, airlines, air forces, lessors and suppliers meet to sign orders and announce programmes, with exhibition halls, chalets and a static park alongside the flying display. The large international trade shows usually run every two years and reserve their opening days for trade visitors.

When planning a visit or an exhibit, check whether the event is trade-only or open to the public, the dates of the trade days, and whether the show is aimed at commercial aviation, defence or business aviation.

We list 8 air shows, in the United States (3), the United Arab Emirates (2), Germany (2) and Switzerland (1).

Smaller gatherings are listed under aviation events and fly-ins, and industry meetings under aviation conferences. For recent show news, read about Farnborough International Airshow 2025 deals and attendance and Eve Air Mobility's eVTOL deal at the Paris Air Show.
