AJW Group has signed a long-term repair agreement with Airbus for avionics and radome products. AJW published the news on 27 October 2026. Under the agreement, Airbus becomes AJW's privileged partner for repairing these parts across AJW's global network.

AJW is an independent supplier of aircraft component parts, repair and supply chain services. Airbus builds the aircraft and knows these parts as the maker. The two companies already work together. This agreement builds on that link.

What the agreement covers

  • Avionics products: the electronic systems used to fly and manage the aircraft.
  • Radome products: the nose cone that protects the weather radar.
  • Repair and maintenance of these parts across AJW's worldwide network.

The work adds to what AJW already does in-house at AJW Technique, its own repair business. It widens the range of repair options for airlines and lessors that buy from AJW.

Neither company shared a contract value or a length for the agreement. Both called it long term.

What the companies said

Scott Symington, Chief Commercial Officer at AJW Group, said the agreement is important "for the customers we support around the world". He added that the right repair partnerships keep their operations moving.

Yann Peyrot, Head of Commercial at Airbus, said the agreement brings together Airbus's knowledge of its own products and AJW's global aftermarket reach. The aim, he said, is reliable support for these critical components.

Why it matters for parts buyers

When an avionics unit or a radome fails, a plane can be stuck on the ground. Repairs done with the maker's know-how can mean fewer surprises on quality. A repair partner with a global network can also help get the part back to the aircraft sooner.
