Aery Aviation is adding private jet charter and aircraft management in South Florida. The company announced on 19 October 2026 that a Cirrus Vision Jet and a Gulfstream G200 will be based at Fontainebleau Aviation, an FBO at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).

Aery is based in Newport News, Virginia. It flies charter and air ambulance trips and also does maintenance, aircraft modification and government and defense work. Fort Lauderdale joins its sites at Newport News/Williamsburg (PHF), Burke Lakefront in Cleveland (BKL) and Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego (NZY).

The two aircraft

  • Cirrus Vision Jet. A small single engine jet. It can be booked for charter now.
  • Gulfstream G200. A super midsize jet for longer trips. It is getting new paint and a full new interior, and should start flying in late November.

Aery will also manage aircraft for owners in the region. The company is hiring for the new base.

Scott Beale, President of Aery Aviation, said: "Fort Lauderdale gives us a great opportunity to expand our charter and aircraft management business in South Florida."

Why it matters

South Florida is one of the busiest private jet markets in the United States, with heavy travel from Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach in the winter months. The two aircraft cover very different trips. The Vision Jet suits short hops for a few people, like Florida to the Bahamas. The G200 can fly longer trips up the East Coast. Aery holds ARGUS Gold status and says it has completed its ARGUS Platinum audit, which many charter buyers check before they book.
