Yardley Aviation

Independent private charter agent in Dallas, Texas, booking Part 135 flights

About Yardley Aviation

Yardley Aviation is an independent private charter agent based in the Dallas, Texas area. It does not operate aircraft itself: the site says it connects clients across Texas and the Southwest with independent Part 135 operators and that it does not broker trips to dry lease operations. The business is run by Jasen Yardley, who became a pilot in 2018, previously managed aircraft through a company called Good Old Aviation and worked with aircraft management companies in North Texas, and now books charter flights for private clients with several Part 135 charter companies.

Services

  • Charter quotes for any airport in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico, with a reply promised in under 90 seconds
  • Same-day business and leisure trips: meetings, ranch and beach houses, sporting events, concerts, college visits and family travel
  • Empty leg repositioning flights when available
  • A three-step process: request a quote with departure, destination, date and passenger count, confirm and sign a digital charter agreement, then drive to the FBO ramp

The site explains the difference between a dry lease, where the client leases the aircraft alone and holds operational control, and a Part 135 charter, where the client buys air transportation from a certificated carrier that provides the crew, fuel, maintenance and insurance. Clients pay once, up front, according to the site.

Cirrus SR22 charter

The aircraft Yardley Aviation brokers most is the Cirrus SR22 G6, and the site has a dedicated SR22T page. It describes a 2023 SR22 G6 operated under an FAA certificated Part 135 air carrier, with Garmin Perspective+ avionics, FIKI certification, Starlink WiFi, the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System and three passenger seats, hangared at its Dallas base. The SR22T page lists a 213 knot cruise at 17,500 feet, 1,100 nm range with reserves, a 25,000 foot service ceiling, 1,134 feet take-off and 1,178 feet landing distance, 16 gallons per hour lean of peak, a 600 pound payload with full fuel and the Continental TSIO-550-K engine. The home page gives example whole-aircraft prices from Dallas (KADS): Austin US$2,855 (178 nm, about 58 minutes), Houston US$3,276, Oklahoma City US$2,434, Little Rock US$3,697, New Orleans US$5,170 and Albuquerque US$6,432; rates change; confirm with the company.
