VerdeGo Aero develops and makes hybrid-electric powerplants for aircraft. It is based in Daytona Beach, Florida. The company builds power and propulsion systems for electric aircraft and drones in both civil and defence markets.

Three people with experience in hybrid-electric and battery-electric aircraft founded the company in 2017. They wanted to combine regular fuel engines with electric motors. The company says batteries alone do not give enough range, payload and speed for many military and commercial missions. Its hybrid systems use liquid fuel together with electric propulsion to close that gap.
