About Vayudoot Aviation

Vayudoot Aviation is a pilot training institute in India. Its head office is in Mumbai, and it also lists an office in New Delhi. The institute was founded in 2011 by Captain Girish Kamble, who studied at IGRUA, an aviation academy. The site says it has trained pilots for more than ten years.

The institute teaches several courses. These are the Commercial Pilot License, the Airline Transport Pilot License, and the Radio Telephony Restricted (Aircraft) license. It also offers a B.Sc. in Aviation and preparation for the IGRUA entrance test. The ATPL is the highest grade of license and needs 1,500 or more hours.

Vayudoot also helps students get ready for airline cadet pilot programs. The site names programs run by Indian airlines such as AirAsia, SpiceJet and IndiGo. It lists type rating training for the Airbus A320 and the Boeing 737.

Students can train in India or overseas. The overseas list includes the United States, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and Europe. The site sets out the DGCA rules for a commercial license. They include 200 hours of flight training, 100 hours as pilot in command, 50 hours of solo cross country flying, 15 hours on multi-engine aircraft and 50 hours of instrument time.

The institute says it offers animation-based training, new simulators and aircraft mock-ups. It reports more than 1,000 qualified pilots. It also says it offers education loan schemes to help students pay for training. It lists paths for beginners, degree students, overseas training and hobby flyers.

Vayudoot also lists other services. These are DGCA medical help, aircraft sale and purchase, ground classes and a CPL test series. The ground class pages cover DGCA, ATPL and RTR (A) preparation.

The website has pages for courses, blogs, contact details and enrollment. A set of frequently asked questions explains how to become a pilot and what school grades are needed. Applicants should have completed Class 10+2 with math and physics.
