UNI-FLY A/S is a helicopter operator and aircraft maintenance company based at Odense Airport (Hans Christian Andersen Airport), Lufthavnvej, Denmark, with a second base at Humberside in the UK. Bjarne Stuhr Petersen founded the company in 1970. It has worked in North Sea offshore aviation since the 1970s and states that it has had no accidents in more than 50 years. It employs over 55 people.

Services

The maintenance department is an approved Part 145 organisation under EASA and the UK CAA. It also holds Guernsey Part 145, FAA repair station and EASA Part-CAO/ML approvals. It maintains both helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft:

  • Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, special inspections and airworthiness inspections
  • Structural repairs on helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft
  • Avionics inspections, troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades
  • A component shop in Denmark with C-rating, NiCad battery maintenance and overhaul, and Artex ELT recoding
  • Spare parts sales; approved dealer for Knots 2U, Beringer brakes, Trig, Avidyne and Sennheiser
  • A Deployable Line Station, a self-contained driveable unit for line maintenance anywhere in Europe

The maintenance shop is open Monday to Friday, 7 to 15 CET.

Other services

UNI-FLY holds EASA and UK CAA air operator certificates. It flies AW169, AW139 and EC120 helicopters for offshore crew changes, hoist operations, medevac, wind farm inspection flights, and utility and business flights. It is also an approved training organisation for helicopter type training. The company is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
