Transworld Aviation FZE

Transworld Aviation FZE was established at the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai, UAE, in 1994. It provides technical solutions, parts distribution, MRO services, supply chain management and consultancy for military, commercial and business aviation operators, mainly in the Middle East, Africa and South-East Asia. It has also added support for land and marine systems.

What it supplies

• Equipment, parts and spares sourced from OEMs and vendors, plus stock held in its UAE warehouse
• Repairs and overhauls of complete platforms, engines and components through a network of approved MROs, including inspections, major repair and service bulletin compliance
• Overhaul exchange parts where suitable
• Upgrades and modernisation, for example glass cockpit changes covering avionics, communications, navigation, surveillance and medevac systems
• Special projects delivered as turnkey solutions

How it works

The company says it deals directly with end users and uses a customised stocking and warehousing model. Inventory is tracked in an ERP system and packed to IATA regulations. Parts are stated to be procured and handled with traceability to the OEMs and repair stations.
