The Pilot Studio

The Pilot Studio is a flight school and aircraft rental company founded in 2019. It is based at Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicci Airport, also called Isla Grande Airport, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The company also runs a pilot shop and a coffee shop on site called 150 Central. The business was created to offer a flexible approach to flight training in the Caribbean.

The school offers flight training for beginners through advanced pilots. Its programs focus on safety, precision, and real world experience. The company states it is the safest flight school in Puerto Rico. It has reported zero accidents since August 1, 2020. Students can train for private pilot certificates and advanced certifications. Graduates now fly across the Caribbean, the mainland United States, and other regions.

Students can choose in person or online instruction. The school says it adapts learning to each student's lifestyle and objectives. A certified flight instructor leads all training flights. The school provides hands on attention and focuses on real world readiness for every student.

The company offers demonstration flights for people with no prior flight experience. During the flight, guests may take the controls and learn the basics of flight controls. They can also enjoy views from the cockpit. The school also provides sightseeing flights, simulator training, drone certification, and STEM programs for youth.

The rental fleet includes a Cessna 172 L, a Cessna 172, and a Redbird simulator. The simulator serves as a basic aviation training device. Certified pilots may rent aircraft. The fleet supports training and rental needs in the Caribbean region. Students gain experience with modern avionics and different flying conditions.

The flight school office is open Tuesday through Saturday. Flight operations run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The school publishes a blog called The Flight of Thought. The blog covers topics such as student progress and family flight experiences. The website also hosts a safety corner with a safety management system and a risk assessment tool.
