Star Tours

Star Tours is a UK holiday company that runs guided group trips, with a focus on travelers from India. It describes itself as a family business. It says it has been protected by ABTA and ATOL since 1997. These are UK travel bonding schemes.

The company runs coach holidays, Eurostar trips and UK holidays. It also runs worldwide group holidays and European flight holidays. Trips to the Far East and South East Asia cover places such as China, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam. Other trips go to North and South America, Australia and New Zealand, and Dubai. It also lists cruises.

Trips range from one day to long tours. Day tours include Bournemouth and Durdle Door, Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath, and Oxford and the Cotswolds. Two day trips include the Blackpool Lights and the Chester Christmas Market. Three day trips go to Holland and Belgium, including one by Eurostar. Group escorted holidays to western Europe run from 3 to 18 days.

Food is a main point. The company says it offers Indian meals throughout, Jain options, and no beef or pork. A guest comment on the site praises the Jain food served on a Swiss tour. Another comment praises a tour manager and a bus driver on a Scotland trip.

The company says tips and gratuities are always included. Coach tours leave from nationwide pick-up points near the traveler's home. The site is shown in pounds, euros, US dollars and Indian rupees. It states that its tour managers are professional and that its itineraries suit many travelers.

Star Tours also lists a loyalty scheme called Loyalty Stars. It handles private groups and MICE, which means meetings, incentives, conferences and events. The website has pages on how to book, visas, parking, downloads, awards and careers.

Phone lines for the UK, India, the United States and Australia are shown on the site.
