Skycore Aviation

Skycore Aviation is an aircraft maintenance and parts company in Namibia. Its main base is at Eros Airport in Windhoek. It also has a facility at Swakopmund Airport. The company is 100 percent Namibian owned, according to the site.

The company says it is one of the largest and most diversified aircraft maintenance and parts centres in Southern Africa. It works on jet, turbine and piston aircraft, as well as light sport aircraft. Since March 2019, it has also worked on rotorcraft. The site says the company is the only piston engine overhaul facility in Namibia.

The company holds authorised maintenance organisation status for Namibia, South Africa, Botswana and Angola. It lists manufacturer authorisations. These include authorised service centre status for the Daher Kodiak 100 and the F406 across Africa. It is also an approved distributor for Goodyear Aviation and an approved agent for WearCheck.

The company was established in 1967 as MacAir. It was later known as Westair Maintenance. The name changed to Skycore Aviation in April 2018. The site says the company has served aircraft owners for more than 50 years.

The Swakopmund facility is a certified maintenance facility. It works as a satellite station for the local flying industry. The site says it can support general aviation aircraft with routine maintenance.
