About Simulator Center

Simulator Center Training is a pilot training provider. It offers FAA approved type ratings, ATP-CTP courses and FAA license conversion. A type rating is the approval a pilot needs to fly a specific aircraft. The ATP-CTP is a course pilots take before an airline transport pilot certificate. The center trains pilots on six aircraft types.

The aircraft are the Airbus A320, Airbus A330, ATR 42 and 72, Boeing 737, Boeing 737 Classic and Boeing 757. Training takes place in full motion, full flight simulators. The center describes these as Level D devices that copy the flight deck exactly. The same kind of device is used by airlines for their own recurrent training.

The center says its instructors are current and former airline pilots and examiners. Students learn from people who have flown the aircraft in airline service. The center also handles scheduling, paperwork and checkride coordination. It says this helps international students who need to know what comes next.

License conversion is a main service. Pilots with licenses from ICAO states, EASA or the Indian DGCA can move to an FAA license. The website has separate pages for ICAO to FAA, EASA to FAA and DGCA to FAA paths. Pilots come from the United States, Europe, India and other ICAO countries. Cadet pilots can also enroll.

The center says it runs ATP-CTP, type ratings and license conversion in one place. This keeps training from stalling during a handoff between providers. Every program follows the same four phases, from enrollment to the checkride. Ground school, simulator sessions and examiner scheduling are planned as one program.

Hourly simulator access is also offered. It is for pilots who already hold the type rating. The center lists uses such as recurrent proficiency, airline assessment prep and refreshers. Examples include A320 CEO and NEO variants, long haul and wide body sessions on the A330, and short sector work on the ATR.

The website has an ATP-CTP cost guide, pages for international students and instructors, a list of documents needed, a blog and FAQs. It also cites industry forecasts of strong pilot demand. Visitors can read about pathways and costs before they enroll.
