About Seamax Aircraft

Seamax Aircraft makes the Seamax M-22, a light sport amphibious aircraft. The company has its factory headquarters at the São João da Boa Vista airport in São Paulo state, Brazil. It also has a United States office at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Research Park in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The site says the M-22 has been delivered in over 20 countries and can be delivered anywhere in the world. It describes the aircraft as having a Brazilian aviation heritage, with fine build quality and a good aerodynamic design. It says both amateur and professional pilots can fly it.

Buyers choose between three trims. The Performance trim has an analog panel and a Garmin Aera 760 and starts at 189,400 USD. The Exclusive trim is an all glass version with two Garmin G3X touchscreens and starts at 199,600 USD. The IFR plus autopilot trim adds a certified Garmin GPS 175 and starts at 215,600 USD. All prices are for the standard wing version. A folding wing is available.

Power comes from a Rotax 912 ULS or 912 iS engine with 100 horsepower. ADS-B in and out is standard on all trims.

A news post says the company launched a long term financing program for aircraft buyers. It offers terms of five to nine years and up to 85 percent of the aircraft value, with the interest rate set by the OECD CIRR. The same post says the company plans to invest in a higher production rate and will soon announce a new factory for the M-22. It also says it will give used aircraft buyers the history of the aircraft.

Visitors can request a demo flight, download a brochure or ask for a factory tour. The company also shows its stand at the Sun n Fun expo in Lakeland, Florida, with a flight simulator.
