About Provo Air Center, Providenciales
Provo Air Center is an independent FBO serving the Turks and Caicos Islands. It was founded in 2001 as the first fixed base operation in the islands. The website says it is the only independent FBO serving both Providenciales and South Caicos.
The website says the team is available around the clock, with a night concierge for after hours support. Concierge staff help guests with special occasions, personal preferences and other requests. Concierge contact details are listed on the site.
Fuel services are a core part of the business. The website says the FBO has the largest fleet and the most reliable fueling services in the region. Its refuelers and ramp team handle aircraft of any size and length of stay.
PAC Kitchen is the in house catering department. Its chefs prepare meals to be eaten during the flight, in the FBO, or taken to a resort or villa. The kitchen sources local fresh food whenever possible.
Facilities include VIP and club lounges for customs and immigration waiting, a children's lounge with toys and a play area, and a private fenced dog park. The crew lounge, called the Pilot's Suite, has a flight planning room, a snooze room with private cubicles and a shower. On site laundry service runs 24/7 for aircraft linens.
PAC Doc is the FBO's exclusive concierge doctor. It can be called for medical events, emergencies or forgotten medications during a stay. The website also lists a concierge partnership with Salterra Resort and Spa on South Caicos.
PAC South, the South Caicos location, welcomes private aircraft that arrive directly, with 48 hours notice. Its airport hours are 8:00 to 17:00 local time daily. Staff assist with marshaling, parking, customs, immigration and baggage. Jet A and Jet A with Prist fuel are available, and limited catering and overnight parking can be arranged.
The website lists travel requirements for passengers and pets. It also notes that the airport authority has restricted private flights arriving and departing Providenciales from November 14 to December 12, between 12:00 and 15:00 local time.
