About Paradise Jets

Paradise Jets is a private aviation strategy firm and aircraft operator in Scottsdale, Arizona. It helps clients decide between charter, fractional ownership, whole aircraft ownership and aircraft management, then runs the flights itself as an FAA Part 135 operator. The company was founded by husband and wife Jamie and Cynthia Thomas and is majority woman owned.

Programs

  • JetStrategy: a written aviation plan built around how a client flies, their capital and their tax position, worked out with the client's CPA, attorney and advisers
  • JetLife: on-demand charter, with every flight operated in-house rather than brokered out
  • JetShare: fractional ownership
  • JetEquity: aircraft ownership and management, covering pilots, maintenance, scheduling, compliance, insurance, vendors and charter revenue where it fits
  • JetTrade: aircraft acquisition and sales advice, including pre-buy inspections and due diligence

How it works

The company says there are more than 250 decision variables in private aviation. Its process is to define the outcome, build a custom aviation plan and then fly. Every plan is built on four principles: risk mitigation, tax optimisation, flexibility and control, and keeping the plan compliant with FAA, DOT and IRS rules. A free online assessment with a cost calculator gives a first estimate of what flying private would cost.
