About NexAtlas

NexAtlas is a Brazilian flight planning and navigation platform for pilots. It is software sold by subscription, with an app that works on many devices. The company says it was founded in 2011 as Planodevoo.net and took the NexAtlas name in 2017.

The founders are named as Commander Vinicius dos Anjos and developer Fabricio dos Anjos. The company says it has more than 6,000 subscribers, and about 6,500 active pilots fly with it each month. It also says users have created over 5 million flight plans.

The app offers real time navigation with heading, distance, flight time and fuel estimates. It stores aeronautical charts and procedures for all of Brazil for offline use. It shows airspace and airfield information from ROTAER, INFOTEMP and NOTAM. It also gives weather data such as METAR, TAF, satellite images and radar. Other tools include vertical navigation, flight recording, aircraft registration with performance settings, and links to flight simulators like MSFS and X-Plane. Data is updated with each AIRAC cycle.

In 2024 the company took an investment from the MSW Capital Multicorp 2 fund, which counts Embraer as an investor. It won the Sebrae Startups Award in 2025 and was present at LABACE 2024.

The site offers a 30 day trial, plans, a blog, tutorials and a careers page. It is available in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
