About Naval Helicopter Association

The Naval Helicopter Association is a nonprofit association for the rotary wing and tiltrotor community of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. It is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit founded in 1971. It serves active duty members, veterans, supporters and their families.

The association says its mission is to serve, advocate for and support this community. It promotes professional growth, heritage preservation, scholarships and strong bonds between service members, industry and families. Its work covers pilots, aircrew, maintainers and staff.

The association runs an annual symposium, which the site describes as its main yearly gathering for rotary wing and tiltrotor aviation. It publishes Rotor Review, a quarterly magazine with fleet updates and stories. It also gives awards and runs a scholarship fund and a historical society.

The site lists the Gulf Coast Fleet Fly-In from October 20 to 23, 2026. It includes aircraft displays, educational briefs and industry exhibits. The NHA Symposium is scheduled for May 11 to 15, 2027. Industry partners can register for events on the site.

Members can use a resource hub with leadership content, transition checklists and guides. The site offers membership, sponsorship, a shop and a donation page. Members log in through the site. Scholarship applications for the 2026 to 2027 cycle are open.

The site has a contact page called Have a Question and links to Facebook, Instagram, X and LinkedIn. No phone number is listed on the site.
