Life Support Transport

Life Support Transport is an air medical transport company that uses the LIFESUPPORT name on its site. It arranges air ambulance flights, medical repatriation and patient transfers. The site says the company has base locations around the world.

Services listed are air ambulance, commercial airline medical escort, commercial airline stretcher service, bed find services and medical transport recommendations. Ground ambulance transfers are also offered. The site says the company helps move patients to other facilities, locally and abroad, which frees up hospital beds.

The company says it has completed more than 3,000 transfers. Its site lists 135 employees, operations in 160 countries and more than 700 missions a year. Patients, hospitals and partners are named as groups it supports.

The company is certified by the European Aeromedical Institute, known as EURAMI. The site says the certification covers adult critical care transport, intercontinental air ambulance, medical escort and airline stretcher services. The site calls EURAMI the benchmark for safety, quality and clinical care in air medicine.

Simon Lillyman is chief executive officer and has more than 15 years of experience in medical transport. Allen Bordeleau is chief strategy officer. He was formerly chief executive, joined in late 2024 and previously held senior roles at Pattison Food Group. The site says the leadership team has more than 30 years of combined experience.

A request form asks how time-critical the transfer is, where the patient is and where they are going. The site lists a freephone phone number, 1-855-661-2389, for North America and +1-250-585-7640 for international calls. It also lists a FAQ page, a guide to costs and case studies.
