JJG Machining Group

JJG Machining Group is an Indian maker of machined parts. The group has three companies named on the site, which are JJG Aero, JJG Machining and JJG Special Processing. Its offices and plants are in the Bommasandra and Jigani areas of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The site says the group began in 1985 with a link to Bharat Electronics for electron gun parts made from glass. In 2004 and 2005 it moved into turned parts for the car industry and opened its first electroless nickel plating line. It started aerospace work in 2008 with a contract from an aircraft wheels and brakes division.

Today the group offers two to five axis CNC machining. It works with steel, aluminum, copper alloys and titanium. For aerospace, it makes parts for commercial aircraft systems such as landing systems, power and control, interiors, and fluid distribution and actuators. It also serves the automotive and industrial sectors.

A separate unit does special processes. The site says it has more than 30 NADCAP approved processes, including electroplating, anodizing, paint and non destructive testing. NADCAP approval was reached in 2010.

More recent steps in the timeline include JJG Aero starting as a specialist aerospace plant in 2019. In 2024 the group opened a second aerospace plant in Bommasandra and raised outside capital.
