Jetpoint Aviation

Jetpoint Aviation is a private aviation company in the Dominican Republic. Its base is Hangar 60 at the Santo Domingo airport, code JBQ. The company says it is the first complete private aviation service provider in the country. A pilot and flight operations manager with long industry experience founded it.

Jetpoint studies each client's needs to find the right way to fly. Options include one time aircraft charters and jet card purchases. A jet card is a block of flight hours that a customer buys in advance. The company also offers shared ownership and sole ownership.

For charter clients, it provides access to global booking software. The company says this lists over 6,000 aircraft and 2,000 operators worldwide. It also offers aircraft management. It gives expert advice on aircraft sales and acquisitions for current and future owners.

Concierge service is part of the offer. The team arranges all parts of a client's jet travel. The company says its approach is personal and complete, and it serves both individuals and corporations who want an efficient travel tool.

The company is clear about its role in charter. It says it is not an aircraft operator and does not own or operate aircraft. It arranges flights with operators that hold FAR Part 135 approval, or the equivalent from a foreign aviation authority. Those operators keep full operational control of every charter flight.

Jetpoint acts as a charter broker on behalf of its client. It says this follows the definition in the U.S. Department of Transportation rule 14 CFR part 295. This helps clients know who is responsible for each flight.

The website also lists the aviation groups that Jetpoint belongs to. The company says these affiliations show its commitment to safety, excellence and professionalism. Visitors can use the site to learn about charter, jet cards, ownership and management.
