About ITW Envopak

ITW Envopak is a manufacturer of security sealing products based in Sidcup, Kent, in the United Kingdom. It is part of Illinois Tool Works (ITW), which acquired the business in 2002. The company supplies tamper evident seals and re-usable secure bags to airlines and other sectors, under the Envopak and Envoseal brands.

  • Re-usable tamper evident Envopak bags for mail, cash and key management
  • Modular Envopaks in sizes from A3 to A7, including carriers and flat formats
  • Cash bags, key wallets, mailing Envopaks and hospital Envopaks
  • Envopolyseals, uniquely numbered patented seals used to close Envopak bags

  • Re-usable tamper evident padlocks for airline carts, in several grades, including one combining tamper evidence and barrier protection
  • A chilled solution that keeps on-board food cold for up to 12 hours, according to the company
  • A foldable secure bag for ancillary sales with limited stowage space

The company says more than 50 international carriers use its re-usable products and that it has nearly two decades of experience supplying re-usable solutions.

Security seals

The Envoseal range includes indicative single use pull up seals with and without metal inserts, ring seals in plastic and metal, and barrier seals. Every seal leaves the factory with a unique serial number that the company records and keeps for seven years for traceability. The seals are also used to secure catering trolleys, duty free carts, ATM cassettes, cash bags, tanker valves, TIR cables and vehicle doors.

Who it serves

The company says it is a supplier to many major airlines, cash-in-transit companies and retailers, and that its products are sold in more than 80 countries. Airlines are one of its key sectors.
