About Flywize

Flywize is a flight compensation service. It helps air passengers claim money from airlines when a flight goes wrong. The website is written in Slovak.

The site covers four kinds of problems. These are a flight delayed by more than three hours, a cancelled flight, a missed connecting flight and denied boarding because of overbooking. Under the EC 261 rule of the European Union, passengers may claim up to 600 euro each. Claims can go back up to three years.

The claim process has four steps. The passenger fills in a short form, which the site says takes under five minutes. The company's system then checks the claim. If the claim is valid, the company starts talking to the airline for the passenger. When the airline pays, the money is sent to the passenger's bank account.

Flywize says it charges nothing up front. It takes a fee only after the airline pays out. The site also says only 2 percent of passengers win compensation on their own. It lists the problems of going alone, such as long waits, legal terms, court costs and airlines that do not reply.

Customers can follow the status of their claim and get online support. The homepage shows a Trustpilot rating of 4.7 out of 5 and reviews from customers in Czechia and Finland. The company has pages on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
