Fluke Corporation

Fluke Corporation is a US manufacturer of professional electronic test tools and software for measurement and condition monitoring, headquartered in Everett, Washington. John Fluke founded the company in 1948 in Springfield, Connecticut. Its tools are used by technicians, engineers, electricians, maintenance managers and metrologists, including those who maintain electrical systems in industrial and commercial facilities.

History

Fluke's first product was a multimeter. Products named in its own history include the 8000A, a low-cost portable bench digital multimeter, and the 8020A, which Fluke describes as the first practical handheld digital multimeter, with more than 250,000 units sold. More recent products include the SMFT-1000 solar multifunction tester.
