Flight Centre is the flagship brand of Flight Centre Travel Group, an Australian travel company. It sells flights, holidays, cruises, tours, car hire, insurance, travel money and business travel. The site calls it the largest travel retailer in Australia.

The company began in 1973 in the United Kingdom. The site says it started with the purchase of a double-decker bus. It opened stores in Australia in 1982, in the UK in 1984, in New Zealand in 1987, in South Africa in 1994 and in Canada in 1995. The site says the group has more than 400 stores worldwide.

The site says more than 3,500 travel experts work across five countries. It says 65 percent of its experts are accredited for tours and cruises. The group serves more than 2,000 leisure, corporate and wholesale businesses across 11 countries.

Customers can book by app, online, by phone, by chat or in a store. The site says half of all bookings are made online. It also says about 55 million visits a year come to its websites. The site lists 133 133 as a store phone number.
