Blue Demon Aviation Pty Ltd is an aircraft maintenance organisation and FBO at 6 Hangar Lane, Moorabbin Airport, Victoria, Australia. Mark and Lynda Howe founded it in late 1991, and it remains a family-run company.

About the company

Mark Howe began training as a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer (LAME) in 1976 and was Chief Engineer at Stillwell Civil Aircraft Maintenance before starting Blue Demon when Stillwell closed. The company became a Cirrus Authorised Service Centre in 2007 and, in 2012, Australia's sole Cirrus Authorised Reassembly Centre, through which all new Cirrus aircraft shipped to Australia are processed. In 2022 it moved into a larger purpose-built facility. It is also a Diamond Authorised Service Centre.

Services

The shop maintains all aircraft under 5700 kg and select aircraft above 5700 kg, piston and turbine, fixed wing and helicopter.

FBO and facilities

Visiting pilots can use short-term hangarage, aircraft parking, air-conditioned lounges, a pilot briefing room and a loan car. Its Howe Aircraft Services unit hires out Cirrus SR20, SR22 and SR22T aircraft, a Piper PA-44 Seminole and a PA-31-350 Chieftain.
