About Airbus Defence and Space

Airbus Defence and Space is the defence and space business of Airbus. It develops and supports military aircraft, unmanned aerial systems, military space and satellite communications, and connectivity and intelligence systems for armed forces. In Germany it has major sites at Manching, Ottobrunn/Taufkirchen, Friedrichshafen and Bremen. The German sites cover combat aircraft assembly and flight testing, airlifter fuselage work and satellite and space hardware.
