Avfoil

Avfoil is an online marketplace for aviation products and services. The company describes itself as an aviation ecosystem management tool. It says it began work on this idea in 2011. The site brings together sellers and buyers of aircraft, parts, drones and other aviation goods.

The marketplace lists many categories. These include helicopter parts, aircraft, parts, aircraft accessories, hangars, avionics, training, safety items, apparel, drones, flights, tools and a section for job seekers. Helicopters for sale are split into piston and turbine. Planes for sale are split into jets, turboprops, piston single engine, piston twin engine, light sport and experimental.

Drones have their own section. It covers camera drones, professional drones, recreational drones and industrial drones, plus drone parts, accessories and training. The company says it sees the drone market as a big part of the future of aviation. It thinks drones deserve their own place and should not get lost among other products.

The parts area covers engines, consumables, filters, gearboxes, life limited items, paint, servos and starter generators. Sample listings include spark plugs, cylinders, batteries, lights, tires and rotor parts. The site also has sightseeing flights and aircraft such as Beechcraft, Pilatus Britten-Norman, Piper, Cessna, Embraer and Airbus models, and helicopters such as the AW139, H160 and Bell 412.

Avfoil also gives businesses a tool to run their sales. The site says its activity management system lets vendors talk to customers, track sales, create invoices, view reports and manage inventory. A vendor login and a page to become a vendor are available.

The site works in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Italian and Chinese. Buyers can see prices in several currencies, including United States dollars, Australian dollars, Canadian dollars, Indian rupees, Mexican pesos, New Zealand dollars, euros and British pounds.

The website also has a news feed with press releases from aviation firms. It has sections for auctions, brands and top vendors. Visitors can create an account, keep a wish list, compare items and track orders.
