Ashland Place Finance is a global lending platform for the commercial aerospace industry. It lends money against commercial aircraft and engines. The company began in 2021, and its team works from places such as London and Dublin.

Ashland Place lends to three types of client. These are private equity sponsors, aircraft lessors and airlines. It works only in commercial aviation. The company says its team has been together a long time and has worked through several industry cycles.

The loans are secured by aircraft or by engines. They can be limited recourse or full recourse. Repayment can be full payout amortisation or can end with a balloon payment. A deal can cover a single asset or a large portfolio.

The aircraft that can back a loan come from four makers. These are Airbus, Boeing, Embraer and ATR. The company accepts the matching engines too. It lends against both passenger and freighter types.

The company says its leaders have deep knowledge of aircraft values. They have worked in both aircraft leasing and aircraft lending. This helps them judge the assets behind each deal.

Ashland Place has closed many financing facilities. Its news page names clients such as Fortress Investment Group, GOAL Aircraft Leasing, Flight Lease, Sirius Aviation Capital, Crestone Air Partners, Windward Air Capital and Aergo Capital. The financed aircraft in these deals include Airbus A320 and A319 jets, Boeing 737-800 and 737 MAX 8 jets, and a Boeing 777-300ER. It also closed an engine facility.

Ashland Place has priced two aviation loan asset-backed securitisations. The first came in December 2023 and the second in September 2025. It has also won deal awards from Airline Economics and Ishka. These include Structured Finance Deal of the Year and Best Americas Deal 2023.
