Allianz

Allianz Travel Insurance sells travel insurance plans for US travelers. The plans are offered by Allianz Partners, a travel protection company. The site offers single trip, annual and rental car plans. The site says the parent company is Allianz SE.

The company says it has helped customers with travel for more than a century. It says its plans can reimburse prepaid trip costs if a trip is cancelled for a covered reason. The plans can also reimburse meals, lodging and transport costs during a covered delay.

Medical cover is another part. The site says the plans can reimburse care after a covered medical emergency while traveling. Medical evacuation can be arranged and paid for if needed.

Rental car insurance is also offered. The site says a small scrape on a rental car can cost hundreds of dollars. Rental car plans are designed to cover that risk.

The site has a quote tool. Users enter the trip cost, travel dates, plan start date, traveler ages, and state of residence. The quote tool has a field for a travel agent number.

The site lists 24 hour assistance through a hotline. The company says it works with a worldwide network of pre-screened hospitals. It also has an app called Allyz.

The site carries a coverage alert about the war in the Middle East. It says the plans do not cover losses from war or acts of war, and it limits some assistance services in that region. Contact is by phone at 1-866-884-3556 or through a contact form. The form covers policy changes, cancellations, purchases, claims and claim status. The company is on Facebook, Instagram and X.
