About Acme Portable
Acme Portable Machines makes rugged portable computers, displays and servers for military, test and measurement, media and cyber security work. It runs regional websites for the United States, Taiwan and Germany. Its systems aim to combine the power of a desktop with the ease of carrying a laptop.
The portable systems come in several families. DuraPAC is a compact unit with a 17.3 inch display and up to four expansion slots. FlexPAC and MegaPAC have seven expansion slots and larger screens, up to triple 24 inch displays. TransPAC runs on batteries and can work in the field for up to four hours. NetPAC is a storage workstation that holds up to 80 TB. MilPAC is a military grade workstation for C4ISR and geospatial work.
The company also sells mil-spec rugged laptops in the NotePAC line, and a Durabook rugged laptop for AI computing. Its rugged rackmount servers include a 2U model with military connectors and a 3U model with large storage.
Rugged displays include portable triple screen command and control displays. There are also rackmount units with single, dual or triple screens. KVM consoles include single-rail rackmount monitor and keyboard units and a portable notebook-style KVM. For media work, the ACME GO is an all-in-one live production system. It comes in a rack version and with a matching control surface.
Acme also builds to order. Its OEM and custom design work starts at the concept stage and ends with a system made for the customer's application. Options include military connectors, custom I/O and TEMPEST levels. Accessories include transit cases, battery kits, interface and power cables and add-on displays.
The company serves government and military, test and measurement, digital media and broadcasting, and cyber security customers. The MegaPAC L2 is made for drone ground control, detection and edge AI defense work. It has sunlight-readable 4K displays, dual power inputs and a workstation-class graphics card.
Product pages list ISO 9001 for quality. Acme will also exhibit at Euronaval 2026, a naval defense exhibition.
