The price depends on the route, the dates, the season and where the aircraft has to come from. A full charter costs more than an empty leg, because you pay for the flight back too.

Range, speed, altitude and baggage are Honda Aircraft figures for the Elite II. Size, weight and cabin figures are from Wikipedia, which cites Honda. Takeoff and fuel burn are for the Elite, and the landing distance is Honda's figure for the first HondaJet.
The HondaJet, also called the HA-420, is a small business jet built by Honda Aircraft Company in Greensboro, North Carolina. Its two engines sit on pylons above the wing, which frees up space in the cabin. The newest version, the Elite II, flies 1,547 nautical miles at up to 422 knots.
Honda began to study small business jets in the late 1980s. Designer Michimasa Fujino sketched the HondaJet in 1997, and the concept was settled in 1999. A proof of concept first flew on 3 December 2003. Honda showed the jet at EAA AirVenture in 2005 and announced in 2006 that it would sell it.
The FAA certified the HondaJet in December 2015, and the first customer delivery was on 23 December 2015. EASA certified it in May 2016. The Elite came in 2018 with more range and a shorter takeoff roll. The Elite II was announced on 17 October 2022 and certified by the FAA on 2 November 2022. It has more range, more fuel, a higher weight limit, autothrottles and a Garmin emergency Autoland system.
Honda had built 271 HondaJets by the end of 2025. Private owners and companies fly them, and fractional and charter operators use them too. In October 2019 Honda showed the first HondaJet set up as an air ambulance.

The interior is about 17.8 ft long, 5.0 ft wide and 4.8 ft high, with 324 cubic feet of space. About 12 ft of that is the passenger cabin, and the rest is the enclosed lavatory.
On the Elite II, the seats sit in a club layout and can swivel. The lavatory is fully enclosed and has skylights. Honda says the cabin has a speakerless audio system and extra sound insulation. Baggage space is 62 cubic feet.

In a 2019 Business and Commercial Aviation report, the HondaJet Elite used 1,872 lb of fuel on a 1,000 nm trip with four passengers. The Embraer Phenom 100EV used 3 percent more and the Cessna Citation M2 used 8 percent more. Wikipedia adds that the Elite's shorter takeoff roll cut into the Citation M2's takeoff advantage.

It is a six or seven seat jet. A typical layout carries five or six passengers, and newer aircraft add a belted seat in the lavatory.
Honda quotes 1,547 nautical miles for the Elite II under NBAA IFR rules. The Elite flies 1,437 nautical miles, and the first HondaJet flew 1,223 nautical miles.
The maximum cruise speed is 422 knots true airspeed, which is 782 kilometers per hour. The maximum cruise altitude is 43,000 feet.
Honda calls this the Over-The-Wing Engine Mount. It frees cabin space because no structure is needed at the rear of the fuselage to carry the engines.
