The price depends on the route, the dates, the season and where the aircraft has to come from. A full charter costs more than an empty leg, because you pay for the flight back too.

The Gulfstream G650 is a large business jet built for very long trips. It carries 11 to 18 passengers up to 7,000 nautical miles. When it arrived, it was the largest and fastest jet Gulfstream had built.
Gulfstream started the G650 program in May 2005 and showed the jet to the public in March 2008. It first flew on 25 November 2009. The FAA certified it on 7 September 2012, and the first delivery was on 27 December 2012.
The G650ER arrived in 2014. It carries 4,000 pounds more fuel in space inside the existing wings and flies about 500 nautical miles further. It was certified in October 2014, and owners of earlier aircraft could upgrade. Gulfstream completed its last G650 in February 2025, after building 598 G650 and G650ER aircraft. The G800 now takes its place.
Private owners, companies, governments, charter operators and fractional ownership companies all fly the G650. Qatar Executive and Flexjet run G650 fleets, and the Italian Air Force flies four G650ERs. The program won the 2014 Collier Trophy.

Buyers often compare the G650 with the Bombardier Global 7500, which was certified in 2018 and pulled used G650 values down to about US$50 million. Within Gulfstream, the G700 is 10 feet longer and faster, and the G800 has the same size cabin as the G650 with a newer wing and engines.
