The Citation Longitude is the largest business jet Cessna builds. It carries up to 12 passengers and flies 3,500 nautical miles. It is built in Wichita, Kansas.
Cessna announced the Longitude at EBACE in May 2012. The first aircraft flew on 8 October 2016. The FAA gave a full type certificate on 21 September 2019, and EASA followed on 13 July 2021. The first aircraft shipped in early October 2019, and the 100th was delivered in May 2023.
The Longitude grew out of the Citation Latitude. It has the same cabin cross section, stretched by one row of seats, plus a new swept wing and a T-tail. Two Honeywell HTF7700L engines power it. The Citation Hemisphere is a later design developed from it.
NetJets announced in October 2018 that it would buy up to 175 Longitudes, and it took its first on 31 December 2019. Operators also use the Longitude for special missions, such as checking airport navigation aids for Japan and Turkey.

The cabin is 25 ft 2 in long, 77 in wide and 72 in high. It has a flat floor and you can stand up in it. Textron says it is the quietest cabin in the super midsize class and has up to 11 percent more legroom than rivals. The seats are fully berthable.
A tablet or phone controls the window shades, lights, temperature and entertainment. The baggage compartment holds 112 cubic feet and can be used in flight. The door is just over four feet high, which makes loading easy.
