Figures are for the Global 6000 from Bombardier's 2017 fact sheet, as summarised on Wikipedia. The XRS range is from its 2003 announcement. Payload with full fuel and cabin volume are from Business Jet Traveler, and baggage space is from Private Jet Card Comparisons. Bombardier no longer lists the Global 6000. Its successor is the Global 6500.
The Global 6000 is the latest form of the original Bombardier Global Express. This page also covers the Global Express and the Global Express XRS. The Global 6000 seats up to 17 passengers and flies up to 6,000 nautical miles.
Bombardier unveiled the Global Express at the NBAA convention in October 1991 and launched the program in December 1993. It first flew on 13 October 1996, received Canadian certification in July 1998 and entered service in July 1999.
The Global Express XRS was announced in October 2003. A new forward fuel tank adds up to 1,486 lb of usable fuel, and the XRS flies 6,500 nm at Mach 0.82 or 6,150 nm at Mach 0.85. Bombardier renamed the XRS the Global 6000 and replaced the Honeywell avionics with its Vision flight deck. Production of the 6000 started in 2012.
More than 750 Globals were in service by May 2018. Private owners, companies and charter operators fly them, and the type is also the base for military aircraft such as the Saab GlobalEye and the US Air Force E-11A.
