They charge you for fake late fees!! They will not let you register for the next semester till all the fees are paid. Once you pay them all they will come up with false claims and say you owe more late fees. Good luck talking to the Bursars office as they are no help and do not even respond! The staff is not there to help you, they only help staff. If you go to the school with a problem the dean of students will do nothing to help you but instead will threaten you. This is not a safe or equal learning environment. The teachers will grade based on personal opinion as opposed to content of your work. All they care about is money. They will do nothing to help and they are not understanding in the slightest. The best part is they do not care about the student at all! They have 60,000 of them so best of luck thinking they’ll consider you in the slightest. The dean of students made it her personal mission to retaliate against me as much as she could as she pursued her own personal vendetta. I have been charged false fees, I have not been able to perform due to fear of staff retaliation, I have not received the education or learning experience they claim to pride themselves on. Worst of all, after expressing my displeasure to multiple different parties, the situations have only gotten worse. Save your time and money, do not attend UVU.

Wont give me access to old school email so that I can remove personal accounts attached to the account. All colleges like this want from you is money. Provide the worst education possible that doesnt prepare anyone for the real world. Every tech person I've met thats got a degree from this worthless institute is useless in the real world.

Online classes are ridiculous; save your money and just get a library card or any number of other free educational resources. On-campus may be different with access to professors, but online learning costs the same without access to any instruction. Professors provide their textbooks, assignments, and quizzes but teach absolutely nothing. You read the textbook and find all of your own answers with no lecture or actual teaching. This highlights that either the professors are unnecessary, or online learning should cost less because you get less support. You're literally paying for a piece of paper, not an education. They cater to on-campus full-time students who don't have a job; they are not set up for working professionals to further their education.

This place is the largest University in the state of Utah! The education is about half the cost of the other big Universities in the state and the teachers are as good, if not better in many cases! VI have heard so many great things about this place. If you are considering college or a university, then you should come check it out and get a campus tour! I don't think you will be disappointed!

I’m writing this after going to school here for only 2 years, so keep that in mind. I have never felt so unwelcome and under pressure as this school has made me feel. Sure there’s a “Care” center where people care I guess. But outside of that small little office, no body cares. Everybody sticks to “their own groups” of you know what I mean. I’m Hispanic and people don’t talk, look, refer, or reference me at all. These kids are all on their phones and these teachers are almost always sticking to a script or their assignments. Even the art class feels very strict for no reason, I’ve majored in art before and I’ve never felt so utterly useless than in this art class this year. It could be the times, but I can feel the awkwardness and just resentment for no reason by teachers and students. I actually felt sick to my stomach towards everyone’s actions and behavior. I guess it could be worse, I could get jumped for my color skin. Idk I try not to think this way, but all the signs point to just a TERRIBLE environment full of closed mindedness and brain-meltingly strict teachers who absolutely don’t care, about me at least. The teachers give everyone else special treatment, gives them chances. But I feel I have to work 10 times harder than everyone else most of the time, and I’m sick of it. I’m moving away from this horrible state and their gross schools no matter how many murals they have around their silent empty halls. Goodbye UVU, it was not great knowing you.
