Flexjet Expands Fleet with Ultra-Performance G700s

Flexjet has officially launched its ultra-performance service with the addition of three Gulfstream G700s, each valued at $96 million. These state-of-the-art business jets, capable of flying 7,750 nautical miles at speeds of up to 567 knots, provide fractional owners access to one of the most sought-after ultra-long-range jets without enduring years-long manufacturer backlogs.

For travelers exploring options in private aviation, our guide to the best private jet companies in the world offers additional insight into leading operators.

By year’s end, Flexjet expects to surpass 340 aircraft in its fleet, including more than 60 large-cabin Gulfstream G450s, G650s, and G700s. All will be fitted with Starlink satellite connectivity to ensure seamless inflight communications.

Passengers will also experience Flexjet’s signature LXI Cabin Collection, featuring more than 50 custom interior designs, with hand-crafted details such as fold-down ottomans, convertible divans, and private staterooms. For a broader perspective on what smaller aircraft offer, see our analysis of small private jets.

The Gulfstream G700 can accommodate up to 15 passengers and a cabin server across four zones, including a private bedroom and lie-flat seating. Wellness-focused features such as circadian lighting, a 2,840-foot cabin altitude at 41,000 feet, and ultra-quiet interiors—25% quieter than its nearest competitor enhance long-haul comfort. The aircraft is also equipped with an advanced plasma ionization system and replaces cabin air every two to three minutes.

These aircraft will operate under Flexjet’s Red Label program, offering higher service levels and dedicated flight crews trained at the company’s Red Label Academy in the UK.

Kenn Ricci, Flexjet’s chairman, emphasized the bold step: “We continue to bring to market a level of luxury service and prestige that is simply not available from any other fractional provider, and the G700 is the latest example.” CEO Michael Silvestro echoed the sentiment, noting the strong demand from private owners and corporate flight departments seeking larger, longer-range aircraft.

With unmatched speed, comfort, and luxury design, the G700 positions Flexjet at the forefront of the ultra-long-range segment. For readers comparing financial aspects of private aviation, our breakdown of private jet costs provides valuable context on ownership and charter options.
